What is Orbie News?
Created by writer, global analyst, and former journalist Myron Manns, Orbie News is an independent multi-source news aggregator that groups the latest most-cited news stories across multiple major outlets so readers can compare different perspectives on world news. It gives brief updates (the gist) and lets the reader choose the source from which they would like to gain more information.

Why it exists
- With the rise of social media, trending subjects have led to several false narratives published in haste to be first at the expense of accuracy. Leaving us misinformed.
- Moreover, trends come and go quickly, sometimes within minutes, forcing users to fixate on apps for useless information.
To address these issues, Orbie News sources from over two dozen major international news feeds to bring together news articles generally open to the public on events that matter as they happen, without creating the dependency of social media use.
